Transforming My Daughter’s Balcony on a Budget

This rug is thinner than an indoor rug, so it will dry faster, and it’s fade-resistant, which will be great for this space.

To inject some personality into the space, I incorporated vibrant outdoor pillows and charming globe lights for a touch of ambiance, perfect for evening gatherings or late-night reading sessions. Assembly might seem intimidating, but with the easy-to-follow instructions and included tools, putting together the furniture was a breeze. I couldn’t resist adding a few finishing touches, like this lightweight resin planter. I love that it mimics the look of natural stone without the hefty price tag. Adding plants as decor accents is one of my favorite ways to warm up a space and make it fresh and inviting. I found this terracotta planter at Walmart as well and filled it with low-maintenance succulents. I love the pops of terracotta and bright green – they remind me of spring and the warmer temperatures ahead!
