It wasn’t long before every paintable lampshade in the house had been transformed, souped-up with stripes and diamonds, Greek keys, and trippy geometrics. “At first, I worked with what I had to hand, but now that business is booming, I get my shades made by hand in London,” Alvaro explains. “They’re beautifully crafted, and it’s a privilege to be working with someone of such skill.”
